Here’s the next
event Folks….Raw And Desperate are putting on their next art show in
benefit for ART FROM THE STREETS.
'THE ONE
NIGHT STAND'
SAturDay, SEPTEMBER 2nd @ THE STASH from
7pm – 11pm.

This is what we like to call StrEEt ArT provided by THE
STASH which is a funky little shop on South 1st where you can find
handmade products by local artist and is opening up for the many more local
artists provided by R.A.D. These artists will be showing
you their, “\Back \To \The \Basics” art styles of handmade, organic,
raw and may be Desperate for your attention art work. All will be for
sale and hung up for a whole month at THE STASH.
During this evening there will be POETRY
READINGS by diverse poets standing up to, “SpEAK OuT” a
mouthful of stimulating words, and an integration of subversive MUSICIANS
unplugged doing their bit to, “AMPLifY” your ears. All the mean while,
BEER will be available for your kind donations, and the lovely PROMO GIRLS
will be selling raffle tickets for door prizes, as well the chance to meet
all the artists will be going on through out the evening for your inquiries
about their art.
In
addition, Raw And Desperate will be starting a ZINE
my friends. Yes, a personalized volume of wondrous thoughts, ideas,
pictures, and fun filled articles by some of the independently known
artists, Kelly Newhouse, Jarrad Connor, Alyssa & Ian Flores along
side Richard Chalmers and Scott Jawson will be displayed at the show
for your thumbs enjoyment. In final results for this collaboration will be
also put together as one ZINE made available to be mass
produced for your Supporting Of The Underground Arts.
